How to send a takedown notice
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must be in writing and include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act for them.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed, or, if several works are covered by one notice, a representative list of them.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough information for us to find it, such as the channel name, event, title or web address.
- Your name, address, phone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
A notice that leaves out these details may not be valid. We may contact you to ask for the missing information.
What we do after a valid notice
- We remove or disable access to the material promptly.
- We tell you what action we took.
- Where we can, we notify the person responsible for the material and send them a copy of your notice, which may include your contact details.
Counter-notices
If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to our designated agent. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3), it must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the US Federal District Court for the judicial district where your address is located, or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.
When we receive a valid counter-notice, we send a copy to the person who sent the original notice. We may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days, unless they tell us they have filed a court action to stop the infringement.
Repeat infringers
We end the access of users who are repeat infringers, in appropriate circumstances.
False notices
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. If you're not sure whether material infringes your rights, consider getting legal advice first.
Notices under EU law
If you're in the European Union, you can also report illegal content under the Digital Services Act by sending the details above to copyright@iptv24hourtrial.com. We'll confirm receipt, review the notice, and tell you our decision and how to challenge it.
